Maureen Wyllie is the CEO & founder of MRA Financial Services and the visionary behind MRA Integrity Circle. As a tax professional, ERO, service bureau leader and mentor, Maureen has built her business on integrity, structure, education and year round support.
Her journey in the tax industry did not begin with a roadmap, a mentor or someone guiding her through the process. Maureen started with no real guidance, no mentorship and no one to rely on for answers. It was just her, Google and the IRS website, learning how to navigate the tax industry one step at a time.
She had to figure out the rules, the systems, the compliance requirements, the software, the client process and the business side of tax preparation on her own. There were moments when she needed answers, direction and support but did not have someone she could turn to who truly understood the path she was trying to build.
That experience shaped her.
Over time, Maureen realized that many tax professionals were entering the industry the same way. They had access to software but did not have the proper training, support, compliance knowledge or business structure needed to grow with confidence. Too many were left trying to figure everything out alone, unsure of what steps to take, what rules to follow or how to operate like a true business owner.
That is why MRA Integrity Circle was created.
Maureen built this mentorship and platform so other tax professionals would not have to walk through the industry without guidance. Her mission is to provide the support, structure and direction she wishes she had when she first started.
Maureen does not believe in simply giving tax professionals software and leaving them to figure everything out on their own. She believes tax professionals need more than access. They need training, accountability, systems, compliance guidance and a mentor who understands what it takes to build the right way.
Through MRA Integrity Circle, Maureen helps tax professionals think beyond preparing returns. She teaches the importance of due diligence, client communication, pricing, documentation, software setup, business structure and protecting both the client and the business.
What makes Maureen different is her heart for teaching and her standard for doing things with integrity. She believes success in the tax industry should never come at the expense of ethics, compliance or quality service. Her goal is to help tax professionals grow with confidence while building businesses that are structured, sustainable and respected.
